Banning Water Guns

via winding road in urban area

Not My Real Name was right the other day, there's absolutely no need to ban water guns.

  1. There is no need to ban any water gun that doesn't look enough like a real gun to get somebody shot by an overzealous LEO or a homeowner who sees suspicious activity in his back yard and pulls out his REAL "assault style" weapon and drops the perps who turn out to be the neighbor's sons.

  2. But what if I load my Super Soaker with some noxious, inflammable, corrosive, or so on? Wouldn't that be an assault pisser?

  3. Yeah, I'd like to see you do that Greg C.

What I would find the most entertaining is watching this unidentified corrosive dangerous liquid melting through the super soaker while you're holding it.

Because like the problem with a universal solvent, it is unlikely that the flimsy plastic of a super soaker wouldn't fall apart damn quickly, posing a greater risk to the numbnut who comes up with such an idea than anyone else.

As I wrote earlier; you can't fix stupid.

  4. dg - you should watch the home made flame thrower videos on youtube. A whole lot of stupid on display there using water guns and flammable liquids to make flamethrowers.

  5. Dog Gone,

It could be filled with bleach--that wouldn't eat away the plastic, but it surely would hurt in an eye.

I'm not proposing doing this. It could be done, though.
