Samantha Scheibe Speaks about Georgie

Drudge Retort

George Zimmerman's girlfriend Samantha Scheibe told an Orlando TV station that he's been suffering deep depression, threatening suicide and is fascinated with guns. Scheibe told WKMG that Zimmerman threatened to take his own life on more than one occasion, and she said the threats seem to come about when he's not generating news headlines. She believes Zimmerman enjoyed the attention he was getting in the news, while also knowing he wasn't able to carve out a "normal existence."

  1. Under normal circumstances, someone’s actions in one event are not proof that they did something else. But especially in Zimmerman’s case, it is preposterous to conclude this:

Zimmerman's recent arrest for domestic violence, and attempt to pin the blame on his girlfriend, should put an end to the debate over Trayvon Martin's killing.

This man is obviously under a tremendous amount of stress. Divorce, financial ruin, one of the most hated people in the country, in constant fear for his life- yet any erratic behavior is proof that he must have murdered someone before his life was ruined. You guys won’t stop until he’s dead.

    1. I wonder if the fact she was shopping for a paid interview from the media will have any effect on her credibility.

UPDATED: George Zimmerman's girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, has refused to appear on camera until she gets a paid national interview, WKMG-Channel 6 reported Wednesday night.

Sheibe said it was coincidental that she was seeking a national interview and that on Monday she claimed he pointed a gun at her. He has been charged with aggravated assault, domestic-violence battery and criminal mischief in the incident.

WKMG's report that the women were seeking money for interviews with national news organizations was confirmed to the Sentinel by one such organization.

WKMG legal analyst Luis Calderon said the pursuit of that interview could help Zimmerman's case. "The defense could make it out to be nothing more nothing less than her doing this for some financial motive or some publicity," Calderon said.

    2. TS, your blind support of the irresponsible gun owner is showing again. In the famous trial, there was a large gray area in which sat the guilt of innocence of GZ. If, after his acquittal he led an exemplary life, that would support those who thought him innocent. The opposite works too. You just don't like it because it throws doubt and suspicion on your opinion at the time.

  2. You don't think what he went through could change a person?

What does "blind support" mean to you anyway? I told you, I changed my opinion on the case as the details emerged. Did you do that? Or did you pick a side from the beginning and never waiver?
