  1. Fortunately the police seem to be collecting evidence to develop an actual possible criminal case instead of just assuming that its the father's gun. After all, who's more likely to have a carry permit? A personal injury lawyer? Or a prosecutor?

"The parents of a 12-year-old Boy Scout who died of what appeared to be a self-inflicted gun shot wound on Fiesta Island are attorneys in the Las Vegas area, authorities said Wednesday."

" Investigators have not released information about how the boy acquired the gun or who owns it. "

"The boy's mother was a deputy district attorney with the Clark County District Attorney's Office, but she left her position late last year, an executive assistant with the office said Wednesday. The boy's father, who was at the campsite when his son died, is also an attorney who co-owns a civil litigation and personal injury law firm."

    1. This is why we need to have registration, not so we can confiscate everyone's guns, like the paranoid fanatics keep saying, but so we can hold gun owners responsible for their actions.
