  1. That felon thing will do it every time.

"Katherine Carter, a spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, said warrants have been issued for Sabeer Brumson charging him with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a high capacity magazine, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and endangering the welfare of a child.
Brumson, also known as Mulmin Graham, is the boyfriend of Catrese Thomas, whose 12-year-old son discovered the 9-millimeter handgun and accidentally shot his 9-year-old sister in the chest at his family’s Renner Avenue home Carter said.
Judicial records indicate Brumson has previous convictions on arson and narcotics charges out of Passaic County."

    1. If the gun possession was legal, would there be charges?

    2. You have but to look at the charges not involving guns to see that. I also wouldn't be surprised if more are added. New Jersey does have a safe storage law for instance.
